Hey people i got an idea!

what about a smaal forum for people of the Philippines?
I may be asked to much, but it could be an idea, i like this forum so a little suggestion may i hope?

please contact me if this is a good preposal or an idea for in the future maybe

I count about just 15 active posters from the Philippines for 2007, but it's a thought for the future maybe.

I think it's fairly easy to get that impression considering there is a connection here to Europedia at the top of the page.

Not to forget the sub fora of China and another connecting to the same European Forum.

Hell let's include a sub fora for every continent then there wouldn't be any need for people to make requests like this, it would be covered. In a way I am surprised that China and Europe have a connection here on a Japanese forum but the USA doesn't.

JREF used to mean "Japan Reference and Europedia Forums" or something along those lines, before Eupedia split off. There's still a tentative connection, but it's a different forum now. Personally, I would consolidate the sub-fora for other localities into a single place; All these sections and sub-sections just clutter the site and make it a nightmare to navigate.

I believe that my opinions on all these forums are well-known. If you want to talk about non-Japanese issues, do it in Chit-Chat. This is supposed to be a forum about Japan.

JREF = J-Ref = Japan Reference

long ago in the days of ole the site used to be www.japanreference.com then some folks started calling it jref for short. since its way easier to type and remember thomas got this domain. many years later eupedia came and went. thats your history lesson for today.

Funny I could swear having seen people say it was an acronym on at least one or two prior occasions. When I first got here I thought it was just an abbreviation; I guess I should trust my instincts more next time.
