It is that time of the year again! Kobe College Corporation-Japan Education Exchange is ready to start accepting applications for the 2013 High School Essay Contest, sponsored by Omron Corporation.
The winner is awarded a four-week Japanese Language and Culture Study Program in Kyoto , Japan. The prize includes round-trip airfare, tuition, and room and board in a Japanese home. Total value is approximately $4,000.
As in past years, an eligible student must: be a U.S. citizen; be 16 years of age by July 2013; have had at least one year of formal Japanese study; attend a public or private high school in the U.S.; and be able to travel to Japan for four weeks from July 15-August 9, 2013.
Essays should be written in English and submitted to KCC-JEE with a completed application form by email ([email protected]) or fax to (847) 386-7662 for the FEBRUARY 4, 2013 deadline.
