What is the context? You want to ask the school if they could accept your son?

Yes. It is a gakudou. I tried to get my Japanese family member to help but to no avail. My wife works a lot now.

I'm not familiar enough to say if 学童保育学校 is right or wrong but 入校したい phrasing indicates that you want to enter the school. Probably I'd say something like 息子は入学が可能ですか？

Saitama city seems to use the term 放課後児童クラブ. Is this what you meant? If so, I would say 放課後児童クラブに入室したいのですが since they use 入室. (You can find the entrance application in the page linked below.)

As you can see in the page I linked in my previous post, there are both 公設 "public" and 私設 "private" 放課後児童クラブ. ちゃんと確認してから回答してますよ。何せ母語なんですから。

Also, sorry to point out this, but "息子のおばあさんは学度を働きます" doesn't make sense at all. You wanted to say 息子のおばあさんは学童（保育）で働いています, by any chance?

In case of misuse of the term 学童保育, here's the definition. (The title of the English version of wikipedia is "After-school activity".)

As in the wikipedia page I linked, 学童保育 and 放課後児童クラブ are the same in meaning. Although 学童保育 is more common and people often use it like your mother-in-law, Saitama city uses 放課後児童クラブ probably because 厚生労働省 (the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare) uses this term officially.

If you want to entry a private 放課後児童クラブ, you need to apply to the club/school directly. You can use 学童保育を申し込みたいのですが or 放課後児童クラブに申し込みたいのですが at the time.

This is a side note, but this そ works as the addressee's そ here. Thus, それは私立校 means "what you(= me, in this case) were referring to is a private school", i.e., "you were (wrongly) referring to a private school." So, I interpreted that you were saying that 学童 was for public schools and 放課後児童クラブ was for private schools by "No. It is a 学童. それは私立校."

This is exactly the reason why I replied 'there are both 公設 "public" and 私設 "private" 放課後児童クラブ"', i.e., 'there also are public 放課後児童クラブ' in my previous post.

It's OK to post in Japanese if you want to do that, but you can append the English version to it to avoid being misunderstood and to convey what you want to say correctly. You also need to know that "No. It is a 学童. それは私立校." can sound very rude, and similar things could happen when you use Japanese words/sentences inappropriately. My two cents.
