A 5.4 magnitude earthquake on Sunday damaged a 400-year-old castle's stone wall in Kameyama, Mie. But reserchers found it was partly damaged where it was restored 30 years ago.

On the other hand, no damage has been found in the wall built 400 years ago.

The woodblock(?) picture with the skeleton is awesome. Can you give me the artist and title so I can look it up? And do you have any information on what it represents? It looks very cool.

Edo-Meiji-Present

Tsumoru koi yuki no sekinoto is a popular kabuki play started in the Edo.

Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (Edo-Meiji)'s work on the sakura ghost of Ono no Komachi based on the story.

The Kyoto-based Ichinoi Co. really shows an interesting project to tie the present with the past, but I think their next step would be to create the English website.

You can save some money if you bring UNIQLO's 3990 yen jeans, but I still find it too expensive for a pair of jeans.
