whats up, thought I would drop in for a word or two, been in Japan for about 3 years now and I have yet to find alot of people who can say they enjoy dnb, some do some dont, but you know its something that people have to be exposed to and unfortunatley japan has not had the classic dnb exposure that they need, no one has experianced the big basses over here like they should, now some places do have good parties, me and a friend of mine found a flyer while buying some vinyl up in Shibuya, news year eve, the place we had never heard of before, but when we got there it was small and way out of the way, but! It was the wildest and craziest dnb party I had been to in Japan, it was great! Japan has been stuck in the Trance and Hard house rut for some time now, and that realy didnt start really hard until like 4 years ago! Recommeded party sites, WOMB, Ageha,, the best sound sytems! Great places to throw done,

Hey there My names rob and im from Melbourne Australia, i have been dj'ing dnb in melbourne for about 5 years...and in April the 21st i am moving to japan for 2 years..either in osaka or tokyo..just wanting to try and aquanint myself with fellow jungalists and dnb heads, so i can get introduced to the senece, becuase i cant leave my country and have no involvment with dnb!!!! i will be at loose ends!!! lol...

whats up man! Your best bet is probably Tokyo for the DNB, I have been hear for like I said 3 years and DNB is just starting to kick off. hit me up when you get hear maybe me and some buddies of mine can show you around and show you some of the down and dirty places that do the music justice, anyway good luck with it!

Saw one of the best shows this weekend at Ageha, DJ AKI was throwing it down. I highly recommend him, theres a party this weekend at Yellow in Tokyo I will let you know how it goes, but i recommend AKI.

We are DJ/Producers from London (UK) and should be heading to Japan soon (July/August time) and was wondering how we would go about contacting people and who to send a demo CD to get a few mixsets out there.

I've only just recently discovered DnB and I'm so sorry I wasn't into it when I was in Japan last year. I definitely would have bought some vinyl there!!!
Until then I'm just gonna have to use mp3's and hopefully CD's.

i know for sure all one needs to get into womb is a flyer printed from the website or one of the hot spots (namco inti/tsutaya shibuya) and approx. $30 -- actually a flyer isn't even necessary, just the money

good to read from some others who are into dnb! I myself DJ dnb here in Tokyo about once a month. Of my friends I am the only dnb DJ at the moment, would be great to meet some others!
