give me like 10-20 minutes ill try and use a sentence, although i can't spelt japanese in english well, and it will be spoken in osaka-ben.... but like uh i guess i can sound it out

Well, summer clothing (natsugoromo, natsufuku, natsugi, natsumono etc) obviously uses natsu for summer (the only other possibility would be "ka").....so I'd imagine summer uniform would properly be "natsu seifuku" or "natsu (no) yunifoumu" as well.

Usually, the Japanese say "Natsu fuku" for summer uniform. "Natsu fuku" is shortening word of "Natsu you Seifuku". In this case, Japanese "you" means "for" in English. An instance, "Josei you" means "for ladies".
Of course winter uniform is "Fuyu fuku".

Yes, "you" is "窶廃" in Kanji. But this sentence is not correct because "ﾂ寝窶ｹﾃｯ" means tool and "for bedding" has a feeling of wrongness. I think "for sleeping(or to sleep?)" is good.

Yes, either "Do I need to bring something for bedding" or "something to sleep on" are acceptable in English but maybe bedding in Japanese in this case would carry more the sense of having to provide it for someone else (or a small/caged animal)?

I agree with you. I have not a feeling of wrongness in English sentence. But in Japanese, it is a very funny sentence.

There is a difference between "ﾂ寝窶ｹﾃｯ" and "bedding" in meaning. "ﾂ寝窶ｹﾃｯ" means only "sleeping tool".

Do I need to bring something for sleeping tool? Ummm... binded straw? or a cage?

How do you use "bedding" in Japanese then? In English it is mostly in a retail context of a totally coordinated set of sheets, pillows, mattresses, coverlet, frame etc usually bought from a furniture outlet or department store. Even matching accessories like a nightstand or bath towels. Everything bundled together is our take on a sleeping tool .
