The prefecture with the highest per capita concentration of ramen shops has 817 shops, but just 490 gas stations.
I was surprised to see that Osaka has the fewest per capita and that there seems to be a definite regional difference in the concentration of ramen shops. Kansai people must be bored to death if they have to watch television from the Kanto area, which is largely just a never-ending stream of celebrities eating ramen.
That's odd, because I thought I was paying about 550 yen off base near Yokota Air Base back in 75, guess my memory doesn't serve me well on this. Thanks for the picture of the prices.
