して is continuative (-te) form of する, then what's the exact difference between して and している?

I've checked your posts so far. Are you using a textbook or something?

Suggest that you start with Genki I and its associated workbook.

Just in case you gave up or are still looking...

If you get the genki book, check out page 150. It explains all the uses of て[te] (form) all and the している in the following chapter.
