cosplay confusion?

hey people,

i was on my way home from a little cosplay gathering me and my friends have every 6 months called cosplay 1o1,

me and my mate was walking home in full cosplay costume, when we was stopped by the local law enforcements and was being accused of armed robbery, he could not believe that we was dressed up as characters from our favourite anime's, so we spent a night in a cell. it was horrible.

now we know not to wonder the streets in our uniforms, but it was different.

...Ok? I simply don't believe you were thrown in jail with no proof of you doing anything that breaks the law, except wearing a costume (Ninja Turtles, excellent choice might I add).
