Japanese name confusion

I'm a little confused on what my Japanese name is. My name is Luc and some people tell me my Japanese name is Ruku, Ryuku or Ryukku

I've seen it like this : 窶堙ｨ窶堙｣窶堙≫?堋ｭ, ﾆ停?ｹﾂーﾆ誰ﾂ、ﾆ椎?ﾆ停?ｦﾆ誰ﾂ、ﾆ椎?ﾆ停?ｦﾆ鍛ﾆ誰

My Japanese teacher said my name was ﾆ停?ｹﾂーﾆ誰 I was happy that I finally found my Japanese name since before I was confused on which one it was. But some of my Japanese friends still say its one of the other 3. But there not sure and other people say its one of the others also. So what's going on do I have three names?

I don't really know who to believe, my friends say there not sure, my Japanese teacher is not really a teacher but a College student who's teaching beginners Jpn for some extra cash. Or strangers who argue with me that its not the right one.

pick the one you like the most man it doesnt really matter that much.

edit: actually now that i think about it, it would be the one that sounds closest to how you pronounce your name.

My name, James, has been used two different ways. Jeemusu and Jeemuzu (just the last character). I've accepted either of those already, but I personally stick with 'zu' as the more correct one, and that's just personal opinion. I say just pick one you like and stick with it and accept whatever else people use for you.

I'd say ﾆ椎?ﾆ停?ｦﾆ誰 is probably not very accurate and the most common way seems to be ﾆ椎?ﾆ停?ｦﾆ鍛ﾆ誰, but it does all come down to how you pronounce it. So for now go with your Japanese teacher's advice, at least around him/her.

I can't see which one your talking about Elizabeth. Can you write it in romanji since I see ( ﾆ椎?ﾆ停?ｦﾆ誰 ﾆ椎?ﾆ停?ｦﾆ鍛ﾆ誰,)

Considering how most people in Canada would say "Luc" I'd say you're teacher's advice isn't that bad (for ru-ku). As for the "proper" one, look at Dave Aldwinckle. How he chose "debito" is his own personal choice. Whichever one pleases you most counts.

Speaking of which, I have a question to ask in another thread because it is similar in essence but in a way totally different

I think Ryuku is probably the least correct and Ryukku the most common, maybe one is simply Canadian and the other genuinely French.

but would Ryukku be writen in hiragana or katakana?

It would be kinda weird having a name after a chick in Final Fantasy
