Christmas and the New year parties are coming soon, do you have any plans?

With Christmas my wife and I will eat something nice, give each other presents from under the Christmas tree and play with our little son.

My mother will come over this winter vacation just after Christmas so we will visit some places in the kansai area, enjoy our time together and spend New year's eve with the whole family at the in-laws their house (probably we will watch K1 and the music program, and the Gaki batsu game at night)

So how about the rest of you guys and girls?

That sounds really nice, Dutch! I envy you!

My Christmas will be just another day--daughter in the US and son probably out with either his gf or his buddies. And, my husband and I can't handle a feast any longer... 😌 (Can't eat much any more!)

I seem to be busy with work every holiday season, and it seems it will be that way again! :(

Still, I think we will probably go visiting my husband's family during "sanganichi (the first 3 days of the New Year)" and drink!

Same as every year: Christmas Eve at my sister's, Christmas Day at my parents' and Boxing Day at my house. I'm hosting New Year's Eve this year too. We take it in turns, and this year is my turn. I'm making a traditional English feast in the form of an Indian buffet. Trust me, if you lived in the Midlands you'd know why Indian food is English food! I'm sure Mycernius and Kinsao will back me up :D

今年のクリスマスか・・・冬眠?
Well...not like I have much else to do with no friend here and my family in France ^^
Everybody's gonna be busy I guess. I'm also probably gonna have a look at the 2kyuu grammar book...

Spend most of Christmas Day with relatives at my cousin Denise's house, open presents, play with her kids' toys, play videogames, then, later on, tie on the holiday feedbag and eat like there's no tomorrow. YUM! For New Year's Eve, ring in 2009 with neighbors, banging pots and pans which is something of a tradition in the rowhouse neighborhoods of Philadelphia.

👍

Let's see, I'll be spending most of time sleeping, sleeping, and more sleeping. Did I mention sleeping? Oh, and ordering a new completed upper, stripped lower, carry handle, and various other tools and items necessary to build a new AR-15. Yeah, that's my Christmas and New Year's celebration; building me a new rifle and going out with the New Year with a bang, literally.
