Chobits is a good anime, but I'm in love with Fruits Basket. I have a brain spasm whenever I hear the name Sohma now. Tee hee. ^^

i think that although Chobits has better drawing than fruits basket, it's storyline didn't touch me or make me cry as much (actually, not at all~!) the story of Fruitsbasket, if you really want to get the "ending" you shouldn't only watch the anime, cause that's not the real ending. THis is where u go and pick up the manga...and pick it up where the anime left off of. THEN you'll get how good Fruits Basket is...☝

Umm... well, the art of the girls in Chobits are prettier... but I like the story in Fruits Basket better XD. Though neither are really my most favorite in the world.

I like them both but if I have to make a choice I choose Fruits Basket.
Although Chobits is interesting and I like it's art better, I still love Fruits Basket's storyline the most.

Chobits, hands down. Couldn't get through five minutes of Fruits Basket, which seems logical considering it's aimed at 10+ years old girls.

I forgot to add this:

Why compare Chobits, which is for 18+ years old men, to Fruits Basket, which is aimed at 10+ years old girls? Seems to me that this makes for a very bad comparison.

I would have to say... Fruits Basket... I've always loved the manga and anime... chobits in a way freaked me out... no offense to everyone who likes Chobits...:sorry:

Fruits Basket

I found Chobits annoying, considering the opening made me so annoyed that I stoped watching. It was electronic, and that doesn't appeal to me. Personally, I didn't like the Fruits Basket anime either, but I know the story is great having read the manga.

For now, I am going to say Fruits Basket, but I am going to try Chobits again soon, this time reading the manga version.

Manga is always better than anime.
