I think, that should be Three Represents.

What Jiang Ze-min, who is unanimously regarded as an idiot and whose thepretical invention as bull-**** by the Chinese public, says doesn't really count in China. The problem here of course is that in China the chance of having such idiots as president / chairman is still high when democracy is way off.

Unthinkable that market economy should go well with such idiotic politicians at post.

I think he is a smart guy, otherwise he wouldn't have been the leader of China for 15 years.

"Today's great powers became affluent before they became ageing societies," say the US demographers Richard Jackson and Neil Howe in a new study. "China may be the first major country to grow old before it grows rich."

This is not exactly a surprise to anyone, is it? A growing percentage of aged people seems an inevitable result (for at least a generation or two) of any effective government policy of birth control and/or restricting and/or discouraging the practice of having more children.
