Heh heh... We have made life too difficult for ourselves... simply "amari yomenai" is indeed sufficient...
 
Although "本当に" works fine, MtoM, if you really are under the impression that kanji is just about impossible. In that case :
"私には漢字を読むのが本当に難しすぎ(ます)....Kanji really is too difficult for meという風にですね。
