@Topic isn't it normal that chat works faster for speaking directly to people? Making a chat just trough PM takes ages. Chat is made to talk? Correct me Derfel-san please if i'm wrong.

Derfel I have nothing against you but our conversations shows everyone that we have some kind of battle towards each other. So for the last time. Yes I take many blames on me about my past. But for THIS time you are the one who is wrong.

I needn't speak Dutch, this is an English language forum after all. I meant 'Make more accounts' as a joke. It is a poor riposte on your part to take it literally and call me to account for having said it.

So obviously I didn't started this whole conversation.

If you are trying to guess my thoughts, no, you did not succeed. Chat works faster, yeah, but it does not have the longevity of a forum. I have made a similar inquiry in the past and it did not work. And the reason it didn't work is because the user base of Jref is too low and sporadic. There are users from Asia, America and Europe, so that is three different sets of time zones. And in any case, as I have said, forums have a much better longevity and they can preserve information for much longer, which is their purpose. A conversation you may have using a chat engine will have much less value than a forum conversation. Firstly because it will be lost before long and secondly because the loss of information will discourage you and hold you from submitting valuable information, since it will be lost anyway.

The reason for the chatroom being in long disuse is mainly because of the time zone problem that Derfel pointed out. This is combined with the fact that our chatroom regulars have moved on to other Web venues...
