we only get a total of 1MB of attachments quota per an JREF account??

That's kind of ridiculous for 2013 isn't it?

Totally ridiculous, I've increased the upload limits.

Thanks, guess 14MB is better than one. Gonna be frugal with attachments on JREF.

I tried to link 3 pictures (~60Kb each) and they did not show. Then, I changed my post and left only one. It came up.
The pictures are hosted on my own site, jref gets only a link, not to store them. They take up as much space as members' signatures.
Is there a limit of how many one can link from external sources?
Sorry if I have not found the rule, glanced over the posts here and got into this, similar to what I wanted to ask .

That's strange indeed.

The current settings are

Code:
Maximum Attachment File Size (KB): 1,024

Maximum Attachments per Message: 10

Allowed Attachment File Extensions:

zip
txt
pdf
png
jpg
jpeg
jpe
gif

It could be a permission issue, but then you'd received an error message. What file extension were you using?

I'll look into this in the morning. Alternatively, you could use the Media Gallery and use BBCode to paste your image into the post. Sounds complicated, but it's actually quite easy.

This is what I inserted into my post, 3 times for 3 different pictures

And now it works. Must be my fault. Case closed.
