Can I write it like this when thanking someone?

Hello everyone
So I was listening to sone music from fullmetal alchemist (Yui - Again) and found this sentence:
Yasashisa niwa itsumo kansha shiteru

I am confused as it comes to the word "niwa", which I know already means "garden".
Translated it supposed to mean "I'm always grateful for your kindness", but how does niwa fit in here? It may be metaphorical, and perhaps someone is so kind to explain it to me

I rewrote it in a manner to not arouse confusion during a conversation, but need You to check on it before I write it in my notebook:

kimi no yasashisa ga itsumo kansha shiteru.

It means "Your kindness is the thing that is always doing the thanking"

It's "ni wa" not "niwa." ie they are both particles. It's often translated as "as for" and adds some emphasis/differentiation as compared to "wa" alone.

also... I know the word "ayamaru" means to apologize but here it says

It's a colloquial way to say 謝らないといけない ie "(I) have to apologize."

Yes, it changes the meaning and it's not correct.

In addition, "garden" is にわ in hiragana, but the particles are には, as Majestic-san wrote. The pronunciations are the same, though.
