Can I believe her?

Listen this is what happened. I asked Alison if she was involved with her friend Britani. She told me that Britani tried to hit on her but she told her to back off. I found out this was all a lie and they effed around with eachother! Alison has always been with me. And she must not have told Britani about me. Now after all this Shiz she claims that she wants to be with me and isn't going out with britani... I don't know if I should believe her. She might just be saying this to get me to stop bothering her.. What should I do? I'm madly in love with her!! BTW she moved to Ohio and that's where she met britani. Now she lives in Penn. OMG What now?

Trust what your gut feelings tell you. I have found that usually if I have a suspicious feeling it's there for a reason. We like to think the best of each other and sometimes it's hard to think that someone we care about lied to us, but remember they are only human and make mistakes. I would use caution and realize that she probably did lie, but you have to weigh the importance of that to yourself. I can't stand lying; and I know I couldn't stay in a relationship with someone who lies. This could be a one time thing, it sounds like along with lying, she cheated too.

It depends on what you feel is the right decision, deep down. You love her, but should you stay with her/can you trust her? And are you going to have a hard time trusting her later on? For me (not for everybody), the smallest loss of trust can act like a poison and spread to sort of infect my entire view of a person later on, especially in a relationship... Now, she obviously lied the last time, but does that mean that she will lie again? I don't know her, so I don't know, but the answer is not necessarily yes.

You basically have to listen to yourself, though. If you feel pulled toward giving her another chance, then do so. If you feel a strong conviction to break it off, then do that. If you're stuck in the middle (most likely, since you posted this), then really consider your feelings and if you'll be able to trust her and make it work in the future.

Thank you all. I will stick with her. It's hard living so far away. But when I'm out of the house I hope on living with her and stuff. A part of me can tell that she's possibly telling the truth about breaking it off with Britani. She told me she could show me proof. ((Supposedly they broke it off on myspace, and that's where I found out all this stuff))... I know it sounds selfish.. But I know I love Alison more than that Britani girl. (Even though I don't know her) It's just something I know.. It doesn't make sense.
