I'm stumped on the second, but first is 九 and last is 造. A stretch might be that the middle one is a variant of 谷, which would perhaps make it kutani yaki (very common)
Thank you both so much, it is appreciated! This is a wonderful site. I received some translation help here a few years back to identify some old knives that belonged to my parents. They were in Japan in the 1960's and had brought back a number of wonderous things.
