Illaparatzo-sama said:I need some B'z recommendations. I've listened to about 10 of their songs, "Negai" being a favorite. Most of the others seemed to be ballads, which I'm pretty much completely uninterested in. Someone recommend an album for me, and I'll pick it up tomorrow o_o/
MHtrStevie said:You know, I think Mars was the first "album" I purchased of theirs... that's the one with the English version of "Lady Navigation" on it, right? I'm not sitting in front of my CD collection at the moment... I had a couple of singles before buying that, but Mars is one of my first memories of B'z too!
And to think that Kohshi Inaba was about one step away from becoming a math teacher before meeting Tak at a music convention... talk about an "unmei no deai"... ("destined/fated meeting", if I'm using that phrase correctly)
They certainly seem to be going as strong as ever, so I figure we've got years of great B'z music to come...
Here's a trivia question for you: Why did these two name their band B'z?
:?

I really, really like the song Love Phantom. I have to play it only in my home, though, because I can't stop from dancing to that song!![]()
I also think Tak Matsumoto has really good guitaring skills.
I'm not so keen on the slower, more ballady songs of B'z (such as Ocean and Arigatou), but I like the upbeat and more rock-orientated of their songs (like Love Phantom). Could you recommend me some of their songs?
