[Budderfly]

Well here we go. I finally had a little time to scan a few images from my sketchbooks. Some pics were done years ago and some are recent.
Enjoy!

I drew these guys originally in 1997, but I've been redoing them lately. These two images above were done last fall.

I got into drawing Faeries for awhile and this was a tattoo my friend had on her lower back. I drew this in 1997.

Just a sketch... inspired by the graphic novel, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
I drew this last fall.

I have a lot of Marvel art in my sketchbooks. These two are just examples.
Storm was done last fall and Wolverine was done in 1994.

1996. Dawn is the main character from her self-titled comic (Dark Horse comics, I think). I had the first edition of the comic and she was on the cover. That was my inspiration.

1996. Originally this was inspired from a battery ad, but I tweaked it a little. He's holding a little container now instead of a battery and I added colour and more definition.

I did this in 1997. If you can't read the text, it says:
"LEANAN - SIDHE (Lan-awn Shee) - On the isle of man she is a blood sucking vampire and in Ireland she is the nuse of poets. those inspired by her will live brillant, though short, lives."

I did this in 1990 (I was 12) after seeing Les Miserables.

I did this collage of Marvel Girls in 1998.

One of my Psylocke drawings. I did this recently last year. It's in sketch stages. I've been meaning to do a final version. Time is just a luxery I can't afford.

I also did this recently last year. It's a sketch of Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Very well done budderfly, you've got a talent there. Keep it up, but try and stay away from felt tips unless you plan to use to Pro-artist ones.

Okee-dokee! I imagine I'll have 20 posts very soon.

I prefer drawing with pencil. I can draw more detail using it and it just looks better.

Indeed pencil is better for sketches but mouse can come in handy when your scanner isn't compatible with windows 2k +
Beside To my mind computer are better for the colors

I don't have a scanner, but it's on my list of things to get in the near future. I also have lots of photos I want to scan.

I want to learn how to use Photoshop or Illustrator to add colour/detail in my drawings.
Anyone got any tips?

lol I myself tried 5-6 times to CG a drawing but each time I was kazy to finish it so I ended up screwing it ^^'
