Hi everyone,
I've been living in Japan for the past year+, and am soon heading back to Canada.
I have no sent any money back yet, so my savings are all in my Japanese bank account.
I want to make a one-time transfer, and am wondering what service will give me the best rate.
Since it will likely be around 1,200,000 yen, I'm more worried about getting the best exchange rate, and less worried about getting the lowest transfer fee.
I've heard good things about Lloyds, though I've heard that their rates are a little lower than other services. Also, I should point out that I am in a small city in Iwate (Kitakami), so I don't have access to any large English-speaking banks. I currently have a post-office account, and will be sending to a Canadian account with TD bank.
Any information would be extremely appreciated.
Cheers!
