Beach boys

Hi, I just watched the last episode of Beach boys, unfortunately I only saw one other episode.
In which seaside town was it taken in?
I really liked the little parts that I did see of it, but I kept confusing myself by listening to the Japanese and reading the korean at the same time as thinking in english. Eek!
Did anyone else like this, or just think its silly?
One of the main guys was very very handsome. Any idea about his name? (The guy who owns the white car)

Takashi Sorimachi... I just read one of the links, great thanks a lot for that!
I didnt realise it was so old. Its only just finished here in Korea. Now we have some ancient show, but I havent had time to sit down and watch that either.
Its stupid, I have cable TV, but I think I actually have less channels than before. No NHK.
