Anyone know of a good way to come to Japan?

Basically, I am a student at a music school in the UK and hope to finish my degree in the next 2 years - I have alot of knowledge on the music industry - the real music industry and one of my first thoughts was moving to Japan to work as a musician but I think this would not work right away, basically i am just looking for ways to come to Japan - do you think i would be allowed to enroll on a music guitar course there? anyone have any ideas? im currently also studying Japanese and have been for a while and hope to be sufficient in the language for when i go

The best (easiest) way to come to Japan is by teaching English. As a musician, I don't think it would be bery easy to establish yourself right away. You could certainly enroll in courses or classes - I don't think your Japanese ability will have that much bearing if you can or can't participate. The more you know, the easier it will be, but taking a class/course will also help you learn Japanese as well. However, you may need to find a fulltime English teaching job to support yourself in the beginning, until you can explore other options.

My new idea is to enroll on a language course when I finish my degree in music -
However, the financial costs seem pretty steep, is there any thing that supports overseas students with finances etc?

Enroll in a language course in Japan or your home country? It's pretty difficult (nearly impossible) to get financial aid in Japan, especially as an overseas student. You'll probably have better luck getting aid in your home country. Though, you can take Japanese classes and lessons without going to a language school and paying thousands of dollars (in Japan).

Learning the language was only half of the reason why I was going, I wanted to go to experience a differant culture, meet new friends, and I love Japan alot so this is why I chose Japan , I could enroll on a japanese course here but that wouldnt get me closer to my dreams on living in Japan

Well, then probably your best option, for now, is to teach English until you can find a job that suits you better - and study Japanese in the meantime. Or, save up money and pay for a language course and do that full-time.

My only mention of taking Japanese in your home country is because it may be more feasible financially.

If you are focused on learning the language, rather than teaching English I would attend an intensive language course for 6 months or more, which will build your grammar and make you fluent at least in conversational Japanese.
You may still teach English part-time during your language course, but if be an English teacher is not your dream, I strongly advice you to study the language and find another part time job since the beginning.
I know so many native English speaker here in Tokyo that have been teaching English for many years, and still struggle with Japanese.
