I've almost given up.

For the past 4 months I've been searching for the right website which sells the "Gatsby" line of hair products, which is of course, a japanese brand.

I'm quite aware that Ebay sells them, but I don't quite trust eEbay. The shipping prices are also quite expensive. I also know that Sasa.com sells some Gatsby products, but they only have a small selection.

So, I am posting this because I wish for someone to recommend me a site which sells the "Gatsby" line of hair products. Preferably english.

I'm also quite interested in their new "Moving Rubber" line. I live in Canada, by the way.

If not, could anyone recommend me a brand similar to Gatsby, that I can easily purchase off of the internet?

My first post is quite long... I'm sorry.

Thank You
Domo Arigato Gozaimasu

Sorry, I don't, but just wanted to give you a shout !! And wish you luck in your search.

Also, WELCOME to Jref !! Please stick around and post when you can. . .since you have an interest in Japan, it'll be good and fun !! Hope to see you 'round !! MM

Gatsby is great--- I've not looked for any for sale online, but I'd definitely be interested too--- I don't know if a lot of Japanese sites would ship products like that outside of Japan... but... I haven't found anything that had the same texture as Gatsby did...

Yo they sell it in the conviences stores in Tokyo, what color or treatment do you want? I'll be filming in Tokyo really really soon and so if you post which kind of Gatsby you need I'll try to find it, then I'll put it on Ebay for the price it costed me (probably under 10dollars,) and then you can buy it from me without import-fees or anything and I could mail it out to Canada marked as a gift with customs so you wouldn't have to pay tax.

Let me know exactly what kit you need and I'll buy it and put it up on Ebay.

You'd seriously do that for me?
You are such a kind person. I really appreciate it.
Well, I was looking for the new "Mat" type from the new Moving Rubber Series.
The package looks like so:

There are other ones which look similar, and are pink, teal, and other colours, but I'm not looking for those. Just the grey-coloured one.
I'm willing to buy three of them off of you, just so I don't have to worry about looking again if I run out.
Thank you again.
Please PM me if you find it.

(I'm still also looking for a reliable site I can buy from, whenever I run out)

Consider it done, I know a lot of Japanese youth that could direct me to this sort of thing. I'll e-mail you when I pick them up, after I return to America and put them on Ebay for the price it costed me (probably hardly any US dollars,)

Also I recently found myself with a small fortune and so I plan on going to Japan three to four times next year too so I could technically be your supplier of this sort of thing. So yeah, I'll e-mail you for sure when I pick these up and if for some reason I can't find them I'll e-mail you and let you know they've been discontinued or whatever the case may be.

This is the sort of thing for which the phrase caveat emptor comes to mind...

Fine, if that comes to your mind then I won't help them. It's not my problem, so thanks for opening my eyes up to having an extra day of filming Japanese girls now and not running errands :)

It's a mistake to think you're special.

Actually, I'm just unspeakably proud of him for managing to participate in a thread and not have some or all of his contributions revolve around his fixation with his own crotch.

And caveat emptor really doesn't apply since Josh is proposing doing the actual transaction through eBay.

I think he infers it, eventually... Maybe I provoked his rejoinder.

I just have a hard time believing the tranaction will ever take place, so I suppose I'm urging the OP to choose a more reliable source... linguistically though, you're probably right.

His hollowness? Our dired voices, when we whisper together are quiet and meaningless as wind in dry grass or rats feet over broken glass...

...and that sort of thing.

I have my fullest confidence in this person, so your concern is appreciated, but unnecessary. If I were to lose money over this, it wouldn't be a big matter for me, anyway. But I trust that neither side would commit anything that would lead to that.

Please try to keep my thread clean of this sort of thing. I don't really need it.

Thank you, though.

SO, did you ever get your product?

My next trip I'm not going to talk to anyone that approaches me on the street and maybe then I can find his hair coloring kits.
The pressures of fame must be wearing you down, Josh. Perhaps you mght develop a secret non-gaijin personae....?

I recomend Somang Henna Wax, a korean line of wax

I'm grade 12 in high school in British Columbia and a korean friend of mine showed me a good korean hairstyle place where the lady was very nice and after getting to know her a bit, she was nice enough to give each of us a free tub of Somang Henna Wax - SuperHold Type. I havent really bought a tub since im only halfway through the one she gave us but i can tell you it works real good and easy to use too. I myself would like to try Moving Rubber especially the Spiky Edge one but im sure its real hard to find in Canada without having to get it from Ebay.

So i recommend asking a korean about a haircut place and they all usually sell hair wax if their costumers are satisfied when they use it after the haircut, if the person is friendly enough he/she might even give it to u for free.

I thought I posted this a while back but I must have forgotten or something. Maybe I forgot to hit the send button.

Anyway there's a convenience store just up the road from me that sells all those products. If OP still wants them and is willing to cover the costs I can send one or two, but I'm not going to turn into a Gatsby distributor.
