You didn't offend me, I'm just sad that you think they didn't enjoy their performance here.
I read all their MySpace comments after they visited here in Stockholm, specially Miku's own words are embedded in my mind ...
and I can't find anything about it that says he didn't like it here, specially these words are on my mind ... and makes me think he liked it ...

If I don't enjoy it to the fullest it's a waste. Yesterday we were in Sweden, Stockholm and it was a beautiful place. Buildings made of rocks and buildings made of bricks. Everything that I saw was so inspiring ﾂ≫┐ And it felt like the sky was reachable...like I could just stretch my arm out and grab the cloud. If we took our artist photos here, it'd probably look cool. I'd love to do a photoshoot overseas in a town like this one day.

Before all I was thinking about was "How do we grab the fans attention & make their hearts to pound". Luckily we have over 10 shows so I really want to brush up and get better while I'm here. Last nights show was again a very fulfilling show and I was able to totally enjoy my time! Thank you to all the Stockholm Cafe-ko's m(_ _)m

The new PV of AnCafe. Well, new... since the beginning of July! xD

I think it's a pretty cute song, but the dancing... It scares me. I do think some of them *coughKanonTerukicough* had a gun aimed at them, which would fire if they didn't dance xD

But I do like the song, it cute and they are cute just as usual. I can't wait to hear this song live ^^
 
I think the dance is ><, seems like they are being pushed towards mainstream attention.
I always had the feeling Takuya is a more serious person who would eventually play in a serious cool band... and now seeing him dance like that... wel either I was wrong or he was pushed to do that.
And it ain't Kanon or Teruki like either, but that is just the way I see it.

In Aroma their styling was darker like they where growing up, aparently that isn't their thing.
 
oh, a really cute PV, agree - the dance looks kind of creepy, but Miku's earrings look creepier xD I've always been fascinated of their ability to make darker songs and sweeter as well. They've never been just dark and creepy or just sweet and adorable. I can't get over it - I still think that Yuuki's place isn't in this band and he'll never fit as well as Takuya did.. Kanon is perfection, like he usually is. Teruki... Well, to be honest I never liked him that much in the first place, but I can say that his drummer skills are pretty good. Their outfits are amazing, I wish I could have at least one of them....

Miku is so cute and...wide-eyed! And you just know everyone is going to be cosplaying as them and doing that dance at their next con...but what the hell, it's all in good fun :-) Is it just me, or is there a certain part of that dance that's reminiscent of caramelldansen? XP
 
The dance is incredibly addictingxD I've been dancing it for 3 days straight, except for when I'm working ofcourse:p
And yes, I'll probably dance it on my next con>< *shame* xD
Meh, I love making a fool out of myself 😌
 
They've released a Single now called "natsu koi natsu GAME". =)

Well...I'm not really an An cafe fan, since I listen to a lot of heavy metal jrock bands XD But they were a part of me...some time ago. Anyway, even if I think they're all very cute and all, and I really understand and appreciate the visual-kei look, and I'm in this "buisiness" for more than 5 years...God, please, that video it's just too much. They're nothing like they were...please, pink? Like, pink it's ok, but not like that...I don't know, the new PV just...ugh, don't get mad at me, but they look extremely gayish. And where's our Kanon? That's not Kanon :(

Still, I like them...even if I don't listen to their music so often...

That's just my opinion, don't hurt meee!
 
Haha, no one's going to hurt you NeoGeisha. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, and this is a public forum - you're meant to say what you think. I mean, without bashing people or using death threats and all that jazz, obviously. Which you didn't do. So...I've lost my train of thought. Oh yes! No worries :-)

The suspension means not the gig, but their activity after the gig.
 
hmm I just heard that news... I´m not a big fan, but I liked them some years ago... It´s pity how good bands end so soon, not only an cafe but many good ones in last half a year...hmmm I wonder why :?

I don't know, but if its just me, but I feel some underlying conflict with PSC here ?

Maybe I also feel that they last PV felt "forced" not the thing they would "usually do" and
actually quite repugnant to them, I think they been forced to things they really don't want to do.... *omfg* cant even begin to try to imagine Kanon participate in this, he is very restrictive actually, and have a high level of honor in what he is doing.

I have the feeling that the stupid ***** a.k.a. The President of PSC is messing with my babies(an cafe) and I am getting her eyes out if she doesn't stop torturing them!!!!!!!

It's a really sad thing. =(
It's always sad when bands get on a pause or break up.

All we can do now is accept that and wish them the best for their future. =3
They've worked so hard so far, of course they need a break and i hope that they can enjoy the break and get all of their energy back.

As long as they feel good, i'm happy. =)
And when that decision helps them to feel good, i'll feel good too then.


But, why are you bringing PSC into that here? O_o

@Sugar-San : maybe they think every populair band is from PSC ?? Cause I'm a 100% sure an cafe is under an other label called RedCafe, and they are a indies band ! so they have a lot of free choise

Popular band An Cafe has announced that they will be suspending their activities. The following announcement has been published on their homepage:

August 31, 2009 - To all the fans and everyone supporting An Cafe,

We regretfully announce that after 6 years since the band was formed in 2003, we have decided to suspend our activities from January 4th, 2010, with a live show at Nippon Budokan.

Without your sincere support for the band till today, we would never have been able to be where we are now. We are so grateful to all of you for your support.

In making this decision, there were numerous discussions made between the band members and the staff. In order for An Cafe to step up to the next level, we have came to the conclusion that it is important for each member to charge up by seeing themselves objectively. The decision is made with a forward-looking vision.

We apologize for conveying this important news to all of you this way, and hope to gain your kind understanding.

After the Budokan show, each member will concentrate on their own activities to prepare for the band to restart in the future.

Again, this is our deepest gratitude for everyone who has supported us.

Hmmmm... this message surprised me for real . Even if I do not listen to their music habitual it is nice to enjoy it from time to time . I hope they will not break up but will came back with new ideas and fresh energy . So, we must be optimistic :)
 
I'd like to be optimistic but honestly I think it's just consolation for fans. If they "take the vacation" I am not quite sure if they will ever be back.
 
Sad news, indeed. :'( Well, let's just hope they will come back someday. ^^ It would be really sorrowful to lose An Cafe for good...
 
Ohh, I really, really like An Cafe. I got to know then through the anime Darker Than Black, since of the of openings of the series is sung by them... I don't have many more of their music, except for that song, but I like them. :) That song is really powerful! <3
