I stumbled across this forum while trying to search for a song with a particular Christmas lyric: "窶堙?窶堋､窶堋｢窶堋ｭ窶堙つ寝窶堙ｩ窶堙?誰ﾆ椎?ﾆ湛ﾆ筑ﾆ湛". (Seems there's a number of them that have this lyric. :? . But I still haven't found out the definitive one. ) And I thought, cool! Maybe I can ask for help here when I need it!
Lessee, where do I start... I'm not formally studying Japanese or anything. In fact, I've been teaching myself to read Japanese for almost 2 years by translating/editing mangas for fun.
My passion is music, my hobby is manga, my trade is "Jack of All" (LOL!)... actually, I work for a very small company, so I wear many hats.
Anyhow, it's nice to drop in. I hope to check out more of what this forum has in the future. But right now, I gotta get back to my project.

寝る To sleep
クリスマス Christmas

So it might roughly mean "How many more sleeps until Christmas" But that is only an educated guess on my part lol ^^

And thanks Kirakira1232... actually I wasn't looking for the translation, but rather the particular song which this lyric originated from, or it's origins. As I said I found a few songs that had the lyric, and one other with similar lyrics for New Year's Day, but nothing about it's origin(s). I appreciate the input, tho!
And thanks Mycernius for the gift... I always wanted my own galaxy! Now to figure out where to put it...
