About VPN and proxies?

So when I sign up it says something about my IP and my location needing to be matched. Does this apply only during sign up?

Can I use a VPN, proxy or any other anonymising tools with this site?

We mainly use the IP location as a way to weed out spammers. For instance , when they say they live in New York and the IP shows India , it usually means they are a spammer. I've been checking IP's here for many years and most of the time can tell when someone is up to no good. Now that you have posted this question , if you IP shows you are on Mars , I will OK it.

Sometimes there are cases when I go abroad and have no access to some sites I urgenly need. In these cases I use proxies (sometimes free and sometimes paid). I don`t find it criminal:angelic:

Usually the first IP you join under gets the most attention. After checking IP's for many years , you get a sense of when something is not right. If a member has a problem , he can contact us under the support section , even when not logged in.
