A word for relax

Hi all,

Many years ago as a student of karate my sensei would say a word meaning to relax after the word Yame. It sounded like enoray... I'm having trouble finding the would. I have come across this word 'enoy' but I'm sure my sensei would say enor...ray? Any thoughts out there.

NB, it was definitely to relax from the Yame position.

What I can think of now for "relax" is "yasume".
