I love Miyavizm! With that album for most people it's either hit or miss, most people either love it or hate it. I agree, though, that Miyavi is capable of much more.

I saw him first I am not going to lie. I thought he was cute and so I downloaded some of his songs, but they really didn't impress me. When a friend got the cd she used to always play it and I started to like it after a couple listens (Miyavi was one of those that on first listen you cant stand, second listen its ok, and by the third listen your a fan).

I agree totally! I got his songs because he looked so pretty But his first song really was't for me. All I could hear was him making noises in the background rather than singing... I was about to delete the stuff but since I'm a music junkie I kept it.

Later in the Miyavi thread when I found people talking so enthusiasticly about him I went I got a few songs I heard others talk about. eg. "senior senora senioria" and decided that I must have started with the wrong song.

Like you said, after three repeats on my mp3, I'm now officially addicted. The fact that his singing is clearly improving helps plenty too.

I kind of prefer his indies stuff a little better cause it is more harder. But his new stuff It really appeals to me cause it is very bluesy and I absolutely love blues music. Has anybody seen the clip of him singing "Am I Wrong" It is so cute. I do agree that Miyavi can do much better. The only problem I had with Miyavizm was the length ITS TO DAMN SHORT :auch: :box: I feel as if I paid a dollar for every single minute of the CD. Miyavi I love you and I am a loyal fan but next Album can I at least get a minute and a halve for every dollar. I mean your CD's aren't CHEAP.

I really like the Miyavizm album, and also I didn't like the songs of his that I heard before. I guess his style just developed in a direction that was more to my taste.

Well, um... I downloaded Miyavizm so I can't say anything to it's shortness. I have a valid excuse though! You can't buy any Miyavi merchandise here in Australia unless it's a pirate copy or something (in which case, nothing goes to Miyavi anyway )

His photo album IS expensive. I though of buying it before I saw the price... How many pages is that thing?

I have checked out that photo album so many times, and I REALLY want it but for that price like v.vn said he better naked and the pages made of gold. Or at least a ton of pages.

And yea I have a pic of teenage Miyavi he was adorable. And I love the picture where he is eating I swear everytime I see that picture that it looks like his mouth is overstuffed.
