A Japanese song...

Hi ya all... I'm Raich and I'm new here.. Well, that makes me your new junior... Anyway, nice to meet ya all...

I've been wondering that if one of you guys had seen one Japanese music video.. I remembered the song was called 'tomodachi', but I don't remember the group that was singing the song.

What I've remembered is the scene in the music video took place at a train station, the intro of the song is a piano and there was a group of girls in school uniform(s). The song may be like a choir type (to my point of view). I saw the MV at NHK in a programme called 'J-Melo'. I think I watched it around 2005, 2006 or 2007.

I've tried to search for the song, but I've found no luck. So my humble request is if you've saw the MV could you tell me the name of the band. Or, could anyone enlist songs that are entitled tomodachi/friends.

Ketsumeishi, Maaya Sakamoto, Hashimoto Yukari & Watanabe Tsuyoshi all have "tomodachi" song.

To be honest there is a hell of a lot of female idol groups in Japan, a lot that on occasion sing or have sung in school girl uniforms, and a lot of songs called tomodachi. So the reason why your question is largely unanswered is because its a bit like asking "I ate some sushi in Japan that had rice, nori & fish in it- does anyone know what type it could be?", in that the question is a bit too generalised to narrow down a decent answer.
Not to mention that the group could not have been a a true group but rather a tribute group or a one shot unit style group, of which there are thousands in Japan.

From searching this list of past J-melo guests and songs there are none titled just 'Tomodachi'. The ones that have tomodachi in them don't really seem like the one you're talking about either... You can go through the list yourself if you like
