Thanks for the very warm and friendly pat on the shoulder. I wasn't sure, at first if I had even done the right thing to get going; but is seems I have. I have really enjoyed my stay here is Japan for the past 20 some years, and will surely enjoy it from now on too. Thanks a lot Kinsao !! Mars Man

Thank you Frank, for the welcome from State side! I am pretty much half Japanese, in a way, you know, but am still Arizonian at heart in a lot of ways. (I miss that dry desert heat and those great mariachi fill southside hideaways.) Do keep in touch, and please let me know if I'm doing things the right way ( I read most of the 'how-to-do' points, and still can't find everything. Thanks, and talk to you later! Mars Man

Thanks a million Iron Chef, I would say we must also have a lot in common--where we are at the moment, and where we have wandered from--and, in a humor and good sense, the amount of stuff that usually covers the head. I do hope to catch more from you in the future as well!! I may ask for your help from time to time, also.

I always say I'm from Arizona because I did establish residence there, however I grew up in. . . you guessed it, Alabama--Muscle Shoals area ( where the swampers are ('Sweet Home Alabama' by Lenard Skynard) can't spell it). . . and I would pray for abduction just as well. Thanks a lot AND if you and your (possible) family ever come to the Nagano area (Matsumoto) please stop by for a stay. I have a pretty big spread out in the sticks and I love my BBQs and music parties. We are me, my lovely Japanese lady, and the Three male monsters. Mars Man

At the moment, we are finishing up the Spring semester, and soon it will be summer vacation ( a time to mow the lawn, cut weeds with the weed-eater, and try to finish up the re-modeling in the dozo (a type of kura). Thanks Mycernius !! I'm very happy to have the whole world to talk to, but I feel a bit busied by it too. Nice critter there ! We've got three of them cute little varmits at our house too. Tora (tiger), Grey, and Dumbo (which I often call dumb, dirty, Dumbo--cause he's lazy about cleaning up after romping around the farm area which our place is. Take care, and do stay in touch.
