I'll go to Tokio for the second time this summer....and want to visit some less famous places. I'm interested in Meiji/Taisho era, americanization and benshi movies. Do you have some recommendations for me? e.g. do you know some cheap shops with stuff from the beginning of the 20th century or from americanization era? Or do you know some places with buildings, old shops, etc....from that time? I'm interested in it, because I like contrasts and the way how japanese architecture incorporate architecture from the west.
The second one.....is there any chance for tourist too see some benshi performance in Tokio...?
