hey all, not quite "pop" but ill post in this section as i think it is most appropriate.

tbh, i really can't stand much, if any, j-pop. i dont like pop in my native language and pop is pop regardless of the language you sing it in. but anyway--

i have recently (maybe 6 months ago) discovered this band called ﾆ停ぎﾆ鍛ﾆ誰 (Mucc) and i am really liking (i believe it must be a group) their music. just looking for other suggestions of japanese music in this style.

Yeah~ Mucku is not pop, but Uta Goe???? I saw in the internet, they regard this song in pop style...T_T
I quite don't like pop either...
I think Mucku's style is quite various, there're mixed of many gerne(how to spell the word!??) of music though slightly but it make their music adorable...like mae e I love that song especially live version, there's kind of ska in the song! love it

Lol, most of the bands we post in this section aren't "pop" at all. The majority of the discussions are centered around Jrock.

BTW - there's already a MUCC thread here:

I suppose if you like MUCC maybe you should check out the bands deadman and D'espairsRay ... possibly Sid too. All have nice vocal stylings (In my opinion) that rival Tatsurou's (vocalist of MUCC).
