Hey Inuyasha! I'm really glad you're diving into the language by trying to speak it with natives, but let me toss you a quick pointer. If you see others having a conversation and you want to politely direct their attention towards yourself you can say "すみませんが" and finish with what you want to say. In your case, I'm pretty sure you would like to say "Hello, people!". But, it might be best to say "Pardon me, but hello everyone!".
So try this: すみませんが、ちょっと自己紹介したいです。みなさん、こんにちは!
It's also probably best if you start your own thread here and introduce yourself. For now, you may copy and paste that until you learn how to properly type/write Japanese. I commend you on your efforts, but alas: 時間があり、場所がある*.
