but.. just to mention it.. i never said i wanna have a 15 cm skirt
i would be satisfied if i would just have a skirtand not an ugly dress, what i now have... !!!!!

I always thought that a person's first concern with a school was the education that he or she received, but I suppose now I know otherwise...

When my daughter was studying for high school entrance, a lot of girls in her junior high school grade said school uniform is an important factor in choosing high schools. Where are they now? (Guess...

My kids hated the junior high school uniforms they were forced to wear and chose high schools where uniforms were optional (worn only in official functions) or not required at all.
Just for the heck of it, I'll give you the top high schools for the most fashionable uniforms (based on vote by prospective high school students):

AFAIK, you can't enter or transfer to some of these schools (Shibuya, Meiji and Tokyo Jogakkan for sure and maybe Shinagawa & Urawa, too) unless you can prove excellent scholastic aptitude.

They don't really look it up that much. They just know about it because they know people that go to particular schools or simply see the people from other schools wearing uniforms. It's a peer influence kind of thing... Rather than going seperate ways, friends just go to the same school if they have no other aspect to look upon in particular. It's stupid, but in some cases makes sense if the schools are at the same level and have no significant difference in carriculum and expenses.
