As I am not fluent enough in english, continue presenting my grammar questions with examples. Thanks for your help.

1. A says: 昼ご飯 （で）、お肉を焼いた。。。
B says: あ～ 焼き肉 （を） 食べたい～

2. A : 昼ご飯、お魚を焼いた。。。
B : あ～ 焼き魚食べたい～

3. A : 昼ご飯、 お餅を焼いた。。。
B : あ～ 焼き餅食べたい～ (excusez-moi?)

If I'm not wrong, the meaning of やきもち is jealous or something alike. So, what is the appropriate noun to use in this case?

When I asked about making the distinction previously, I told maybe 90% of the time 焼き餅 refers to jealousy. So unless you mean you want to stop feeling jealous by eating it, I agree with Nagato.

There's two types of jealousy I think, bad jealousy and good jealousy. I feel, jealousy is one of "human treasures" that's going to disappear. OFF TOPIC.

Yup, I think so. In most context yakimochi refers to jealousy,

A : 焼き餅焼いた。。。
B : あ～それ美味しい？ 焼き餅食べたい～

羨ましい envy in Japanese and I think usually makes the envied person quite proud. If jealousy starts to show and as feelings of 嫉妬、ひがみや、ねたみ、焼き餅 enter in, as @protheus discovered, the same person suddenly doesn't feel quite as content and flattered.

It is a little different from the English system, but I've never run into a problem trying to use 羨ましい as much as possible without making them feel overburdened and indebted to me.

I meant that type of "jealousy", since I find many people starting to lose that feeling. Jealousy with good reason is good, jealousy with no reason is bad.

If you're talking about the situation in Europe or other parts of Asia, I can understand. Japan, not really. The US is quite different still. Here the feeling remains but people realize betrayal is easier than ever before for those that have the nerve to go after it. So the lover has also had to learn to discriminate between reasonable and unreasonable jealousy. Not that I'm particularly schooled in the intricacies of such matters here....

I think ひがみ would better suit that feeling. Your not envious of the wife, you feel mental uneasiness from suspicion or fear of rivalry

ひがみ is like self-pity or a feeling of inferiority to the rival. She isn't envious of the wife. She is jealous of the interloper, this so-called girlfriend.

But if you think about the feeling Nagato described. If you saw some other girl walking and hanging on your boyfriend, you would feel self-pity or fear of rivalry. That's why people get upset. Fear of being replaced by someone else.
