Well, you can make a いり卵, not sure about other styles, although it doesn't work here for me either. And I believe even hens 産み / 生みます。mikecash said:You don't 作る eggs. That's the chickens' job. (And I think you meant 作れる instead of 作られる).
That is one usage, but in the sense of "as much as" being used in these examples I don't think there is any difference between kurai and gurai.Gaijinian said:美しいだったら should be 美しかったら, because i keyoushi have their own copula, and cannot be put with だ (except with an ん・の).
Anyway, I'll help you out with くらい・ぐらい
The first implies an 'at least' feel. それくらい知っているだろう?You know at least that much, right?みたいな意味をしていると思いますね。
You might want to consider taking Level 3 instead of Level 2.

I'm confused as to why you're baffled. "To the extent" is just an extension of "as much as" or "to the degree" although I tend to use hodo in that situation and perhaps teido is the more general term, so maybe it is a little tricky. As for kurai/gurai, doesn't it also mean that something was "so ~~~ that ~~~"? 「道で卵を作られる」ですと、道が卵を産むような感じがしますので、ここは「卵を焼ける」とした方が、良いように思います。jljzen said:みんなさん、こんにちは!
