I heard talk of someone accidentally discovering a stone on Sabure Mountain that sold for a very high price. If so my eyes will change color.

The two sentences don't seem to match up, I must have got the first one wrong :/
 
Just one more thing about your previous post.
いってくるぜ is not just いくぜ. He meant "I'm going to go earning the easy money".

The main verb is 話をした "I told him (= the one who left the bar/who talked to you previously) ~".
そうしたら means "then/after that".
The subject of 目の色を変えた is "he".
目の色を変える is an idiom, meaning "to have one's eyes light up / to have a different look in one's eyes" there.

If you see a pattern like お(something)さん or just an お・ご on the front of a word, and you can't find the word in your dictionary, try removing those bits.

This isn't the complete sentence but does this mean "If you are the real/true warrior of legend"?

After beating a man in a contest he says: ほう なかなかやるではないか。
Does it mean "Huh I didn't play very well"?

He is praising you: "Oho, you are pretty good! (aren't you)". ではないか is rhetorical.

きた is 来た "to come" there.

～ておる is an old people's version of ～ている.

禁物じゃぞ
あまり人を頼りすぎるの is one of 禁物. あまり人を頼りすぎるのは has a nuance that あまり人を頼りすぎるの is the only one thing you should take care of.

I think あえる must be the potential form of a verb because あえる means to dress vegetables. But the only verb it looks like it could be the potential form of is ある (to be). It doesn't make sense to me

The people from たびびとのまち were taken and lead up the mountain past the build that I (and a few other people) are currently in.
Does the red part mean something like "I heard they were young and healthy"?
 
I think you forgot a common verb 会う. (The potential form of ある should be あれる, if it existed.)

It seems you are misunderstanding the first sentence to me. As for the second one, it's not hearsay, but expresses the speakers impression. って indicates the topic as same as は, and いい means "to be envious of" there.

たのみにしています means that she is making a request. So a super literal translation would be "I'm requesting that you make it possible for us to meet"? Which would ultimately be translated as "Please come find me/come to see me"?

You're right I was misunderstanding the first part, because I didn't understand this usage of って.

So let's try this again: "Not long ago some people went up (the mountain, presumably) from Travelers Town. It's good to be young and healthy." Implying that he is envious of them.

It's not わかくてげんきでいい. The speaker is envious of a general fact that わかいひとはげんきだ.
(The speaker is a woman, by the way.)

Notice it's not あなたとあえるときたのしみにしています. を shows that あなたとあえるとき is the object of たのしみにしています.
I'm looking forward to the time when I can see you. / I'm looking forward to seeing you.

It's この奥の登山道, and not 登山道の奥. この奥 refers to the direction "to the depth of the mountain" from the place where they are now.

～て行く means "to do and then go" in that case.

ハナタレプー is a bit oldish (slangy) expression for the definition #2 "greenhorn / inexperienced person".

I assume he means his son is inexperienced at climbing mountains. Is that translation right?
 
Yes, but the son's name is ナダレ, not せがれ.

おって is 追っ手 I suppose.
げんかい = 限界. 限界だ = "this is (my) limit", "I can't go on anymore"
くい・・たかった = 食いたかった (from 食う = くう)

"Interrogative + か" gives the meaning of uncertainty. It means that you can hear some talking voices, but what they are talking is uncertain.
