Does すぐその場 mean the same as すぐ側?Or is it すぐ(immediately) その場 (that place)?

My attempt at translating: You can start immediately from the place (where you died) even if it's Game Over. At this time the statue will be destroyed and disappear. Also, if you aren't using the necessary equipment this effect will not manifest.

The latter is correct, as you translated.

必ず is an adverb.
装備して(= 装備する) is a verb.
The object of 装備する is 像.

It literally means so, but the structure ～必ず/いつもないと…ない means more likely "~ is always necessary for ...", thus, you need always to have this statue equipped to get this effect.

This is just the description of an area (風の谷): 風の谷には、賢者セブーの洞窟の他に、もうひとつ、洞窟がありますが、その入口は岩石でふさがれています。ある事で開き旅人の町へ出られます。

Does 賢者セブーの洞窟の他に、もうひとつ、洞窟がありますが mean "other than the sage Sabuu's cave there is also another cave"?

I've been looking up example sentences that contain "ある事" and this is one confusing little phrase. Could it mean "a certain incident"? The last sentence looks like something like "There will be a certain incident when you'll open (the cave) and can exit to the travelers town"?

Yes.

ある事 literally means "something", and で indicates cause/reason. Thus, it shows that you need to do something(e.g. get the key, chant the spell) or something is needed to happen(e.g. an event must happen) to open the cave.

This next sentence is a description of another area called コーデル平原.

風の谷からの洞窟の出口の、すぐ南に「旅人の町」があります。ここのフィールドは、風の谷と比べると広く、また、様々な所へつながっています。

I don't understand why that の comes before a comma, is that comma a typo? Because if I remove the comma it makes sense to me.
Then I don't understand why へ comes after 所 and before つながっています. Shouldn't a motion verb come after へ?
 
There is no strict rule about the position of the comma in Japanese sentences, so it's no problem with that sentence. 出口のすぐ南に、 would be more common, though.

へ indicates the direction. It's the same usage as 道は左へ曲がっている or この水路は海へ続いている.
 
I noticed that つながっています can mean "lead to" so yes that does make perfect sense, thank you.

This is the description of サブレ山.
旅人の町の、西南は「西ルート」、迷いの森付近の北側は「北ルート」に、各々続いています。どちらも洞窟が続き、その途中は氷壁でふさがれています。

South-west of the Travelers Town is the "West Route". In the vicinity of the north side of the forest of confusion is the "North Route", each is continuing. No matter which cave you take, that route will be blocked by a wall of ice.

As you can see, the red part doesn't make sense

各々 refers to 旅人の町の西南 and 旅人の町の、迷いの森付近の北側 (= 旅人の町の北側の、迷いの森付近 near the Forest of Confusion, which is the north of the Travelers Town).

This is most definitely the hardest sentence I've come across so far. With your corrections, I've just spent at least thirty minutes trying to come up with a more accurate translation, but I can't.
Could you give me a full translation for this sentence please?

旅人の町の北側の、迷いの森付近は「北ルート」に続いています。
西ルートも北ルートも洞窟が続き、その途中は氷壁でふさがれています。

This makes the sentence structure more clear?

It's that last part where the meaning breaks down. What exactly is continuing? Both routes? And is "continuing" even the right way to translate in this case?
 
I presume you know that 各々 means "each", or "each one", and so from that you can deduce that this phrase refers to the two routes previously mentioned, right?
Yes I would say that "continuing/continues" is correct and a valid translation, even if it makes for a slightly clumsy English phrase.
In English we would probably reverse the order of the sentence to avoid ending on the verb "continues" (i.e. Each road continues.) While it is an accurate translation, it feels weird in English. It feels almost like a tautology unless you are differentiating it from a dead end (but even a dead end leads somewhere). Does the following work for you?
Two roads run along (beside? through?) Travelers Town: to the south-west is the "West Route", and to the north of the Forest of Confusion is the "North Route".
 
I think "to lead to~" is more appropriate in this case, as I linked in my previous post.
The south-west side of the Travelers Town leads to the West Route, and the neighborhood of the Forest of Confusion, which is the north side of the Travelers Town, leads to the North Route.
 
Wow, that is one heck of a sentence. I was imagining roads in the south-west and north of the town that lead somewhere I couldn't figure out. Yet there are no roads, it's those "sides" of the town that lead somewhere. Thank you for enlightening me

This next paragraph is a description of a place called ポートア. (Yet it seems to be talking about Sabure Mountain).

サブレ山の雪溶け水で潤う、水辺のフィールドです。滝や潮、また、数々所に洞窟があります。
また、海にも近く、どこかに、海に続く地下水路もあるようです。

Sabure Mountain is covered in thawing snow and is next to the sea. There are caves that lead to many places such as waterfalls and shores. And it is near the sea so there are underground waterways that lead to the ocean.

Those sentence seem easy enough, although I'm not quite sure why that も is there. Also please correct any inaccuracies you see.
 
That's a description about ポートア, thus, the topic of the entire paragraph is ポートア.

ポートアはサブレ山の雪溶け水で潤う、水辺のフィールドです。
ポートアには滝や潮、また、数々所に洞窟があります。
また、ポートアは海にも近く、どこかに、海に続く地下水路もあるようです。

That's the same as 鎧・盾 in your previous post.

Oh, I made several more mistakes there then I thought. Again that breakdown is very helpful, thanks.

また、海にも近く、どこかに、海に続く地下水路もあるようです。

The water from Sabure Mountain melts into Potoa, it's a waterfront. There are tunnels leading to the waterfall, the shore, and many other places.
Also it's near the ocean and there seems to be underground waterways leading to the sea everywhere.

I tried to translate the first sentence starting with "Potoa is" because I think that would be more accurate but I couldn't do it It seems my English is bad too.

I've noticed this just now, but 潮 and 数々所 are typos of 湖 and 数ヶ所 respectively, right?
滝, 湖 and 洞窟 are all the subjects of あります.

You're right about those typos, I apologize for that, although I have to be honest I don't understand the difference between 数々所 and 数ヶ所.

どこかに seems to mean 'anywhere' and/or 'somewhere'. In this case I will go with 'somewhere'. Let's have another crack at it.

また、海にも近く、どこかに、海に続く地下水路もあるようです。

か【箇／個／个】の意味 - 国語辞書 - goo辞書
ヶ is a counter used with other counters, as in the examples in the dictionary linked above. Thus, 数ヶ所[すうかしょ] means "several places". 数々[かずかず] can't modify nouns directly. It should be 数々の所.

どこかに can't mean "anywhere" in the sense of "everywhere". See the definition in the dictionary.

どこかに means "anywhere" in the sense of "somewhere"? I think those example sentences you linked to were clear about that, however, I still feel like my translation is correct because it's saying basically "there are underground canals somewhere". Isn't that right?
