Hi. Does the underlined だって mean "even if"? I would have thought when だって is used in this sense, it must be preceded by a noun, not a clause.

I'd say it means "because." It's a colloquial word and in the passage, it's within a conversation. And it seems to fit.
"Because it's not free..."

It's "too/also". "Because" is provided by し at the end of the sentence タダじゃないし (it's "because it's not free...", and not "because they move the Restoration Unit", right?).

の after 動かす is a nominalizer, whose function is to change a verb/an adjective (including phrase or clause) into a noun, isn't it?
