I have a question about this sentence -
Context: Someone is describing a kid (thief) who is about to pull out a weapon.
I'm interested in the 「武器に殺し」 part. Is this に used here to mean "and"? Similarly like と, but it implies that those things come in a set, one thing is added to the first thing etc.

Edit: Unrelated side question - 「
Is おいで here used like a honorific いる?
「出る」「行く」「来る」「居る」などの尊敬語。「―になる」「―を願う」「いい子にして―」;
There's also the "command" usage, but that doesn't fit here.

Imagine a comma after 武器に

It is two separate things sharing a common predicate.

Is there some reason you post images of the sentences instead of just typing them into your posts?

As to your "Unrelated side question" - 「

The answer is yes.
You can rephrase it as "お仕事では、随分と成果を上げていらっしゃるようですね。」

Is it anything in the lines of ~ "making (the fact of) being a child, a weapon. Turning murder into a business" ?~(forgive my bad wording)

Mike-san said "comma", not "period". 子供であることを武器に is an adverbial clause.

Yes, I ended up apologizing for a bad translation, overlooked my even worse punctuation.

I'm doing it like that because of typos and grammar errors. Just trying to avoid the "are you sure that it's not ----- in that sentence?" questions. Someone could have asked if I wrote the sentence wrong here, for example - かに question | Japan Forum
If it's a problem, I can do both. :)

On a regular computer I suppose it shows up in the body of the post. On Tapatalk I have to click to a different screen, where I find tiny text I have to zoom in on and scroll around so I can read it all. Then if I want to use it in my reply I have to memorize it and type it in....which somebody seems to end up having to do anyway.

I admire your preventative approach to the typo problem.
