I an learning how to conjugate from dictionary form to て form, I read that verbs ending with いる or える you need to remove the る and add て.
But then I ran into this two verbs: 帰る and 変える.
変える. conjugates into 変えて.
帰る conjugates into 帰って. (like the ones ending in つ、る、う)
trying to understand why and comparing it with similar examples i notice that the ones that are 一段 verb get the て suffix and the
五段 verbs get the って suffix.
Is this correct, or can someone explain me why the two of them areconjugated in a diferrent way, thank you.
