Hiya,
1. 花嫁は伏目がちに、満座の注目を浴びながら入場した。
Translation given: "The bride came into the room with lowered eyes and with everyone staring at her."
a) Is がち used in the sense of "apt to do, tend to do"?
b) I have a slight doubt about the "direction" of the verb 浴びる. I guess 花嫁 has to be the subject of 浴びながら, right?
2. 金沢では吹雪くことがある。
Translation given: "There are sometimes blizzards in Kanazawa."
I understand this fine, but I wondered if ~ことがある could ever also mean that there is a blizzard happening now (irrespective of whether blizzards have happened in the past or are likely to happen again). I'm thinking probably not, but not 100% sure...
3. ケーキがおいしくて有名な店に行った。
Does this have the sense "I went to the well-known shop because their cake is delicious"?
