This one got me dizzy.
1 - 毎日忙しく過ごしているおかげで、申し込みのひが過ぎ てしまった
Am I wrong or is this sentence saying that "due to being busy everyday, he has missed the day of the application" ?
If this is the case, why is "okagede" being used here? I go this one in 「日本語能力試験予想問題集 N2」
also
2 - 電気工事にともない、午前2時から4時まで停電いたしま す
What does this "ともない" mean? Or, what does the 電気工事 has to do with the 2 hours of power outage? And why いたします.
Is it a message from an electricity company informing that due to the 工事, they will suspend energy for 2 hours?
Thank you guys
