いうほど standing on its own?

I saw a couple other posts here already about the use of ほど, but I think this one's different enough for its own thread. Specifically, my question is about the phrase いうほど.

I know what it normally means, and how it's normally used (口でいうほど簡単ではない、いやというほど聞かされあ 驕Aetc.) But recently I'm pretty sure I heard a Japanese guy say "いうほどや!" (Osaka-ben included, lol), so I'm wondering if there's some recent trend, or even possibility, of using いうほど as its own stand-alone sentence with no accompanying verb phrase, negative phrase, or whatever else it's regularly attached to.

If anyone has heard the phrase used this way before and can maybe provide a little context, I'd really appreciate it!

I have never heard it used on its own. It could very well be a Osaka/Kansai thing. Maybe members who are from Kansai/live in Kansai can tell us.

Just off the top of my head, it might be the same meaning as だけ/くらい.

どれほど要るん?(どれだけ要るの?)
言うほどや!わしが言うほど持って来んかい!
