Kogatana/kozuka translation

Hello, I recently acquired this Kogatana/Kozuka set and need a translation of the blade. I believe the piece is EDO period. Hopefully the blade is pictured clearly enough.

I think it's so worn that the kanji will be impossible to decipher.

Ok thanks Majestic. I thought maybe the top 2 or 3 could be deciphered

I was going to say that the third (or fourth?) kanji looks like it might be 長, and then from there you might guess 長船 or some other plausible thing, but...its too worn for anything but wild guesses. I agree that the first one might be decipherable.
Just as an aside, I've heard it said that most names on kogatana are counterfeit.
