some of these stones are worn and covered in lichens, this one side of this uncut rock is barely legible. any help would be appreciated

It looks like Taisho 8 (1919) February 12 to me. I'll leave the name for somebody who knows what they are doing.

I think the month of the death would be May. There seems to be three horizontal lines and two slashes there.
