Hi, i'm having real difficulties trying to translate the attached image, is anyone able to help? Many thanks in advance

Brilliant, thank you for your help :

I was wondering if you could help on these two also? They are a little hazzy, l will try and take a better picture if you have troubles reading the. I wouldn't know where to start otherwise, thanks again!

Hmm, seems like 日昇[nisshou] to me. If so, it would be a Buddhist priest's name or company name.

Thanks Again for your help, I'll see what l can find out.

I've got some lovely hand made carvings with these symbols, so I'm wondering who/where they originally came from.
