Tomobako translation

I attach a photo of a tomobako lid, the box holds a piece of pottery, and I would be grateful if anyone could translate what is on the lid please.

It reads,

南蛮手耳付 水指 主一 作

南蛮手（なんばんて） or "Nanban-te" means it is a Nanban-yaki, a style of pottery which is mainly made in Okinawa .

耳付（みみつき） or "mimi-tsuki / with ears" means it has handles (ears) on its sides.

水指（みずさし） or "mizusashi", is a container that holds water for preparing green tea during a traditional tea ceremony .

主一 作（しゅいち さく） or "Shuichi-saku", means it was made by someone named Shuichi.
Now, there are several ways to read this particular name, and it could very well be Kazuichi or Morikazu instead of Shuichi.
